СТРУКТУРА ЛІНГВІСТИЧНОГО МЕТОДУ: ГОМОГЕННІ Й ГЕТЕРОГЕННІ КОНЦЕПЦІЇ

Abstract

The article analyzes homogeneous and heterogeneous concepts of linguistic method, relected in the scientiic literature. The author shows that the narrow interpretation of the linguistic method allows identifying it as operations (techniques, procedures) thus presenting it as a homogeneous phenomenon.
Such reading impoverishes the concept of linguistic method for it becomes dissociated from the principles and approaches that are not included in its structure. The article discusses a linguistic method as a complex heterogeneous logical unit. In the structure of method three disparate components are identiied: ontological, operational and teleological.
