Areas of Research
Studia Philologica is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Kyiv Borys Grinchenko Metropolitan University (Ukraine) since 2012 (Kyiv Borys Grinchenko University till December 2023). The journal’s issues are released twice a year (June and December).
Studia Philologica publishes relevant research in the following fields:
cognitive linguistics, discourse analysis, historic and comparative studies, semiotics, linguo-cultural studies, interdisciplinary research, theory of literature and literary criticism.
Branches of science: linguistics (UDC 81) and literary studies (UDC 82)
Audience
The journal addresses researchers, educators, doctoral candidates, postgraduate and graduate students in linguistics and literary studies. It is expected to be of interest to international academic partners.
Types of Contributions
Research Articles
The journal accepts original research articles presenting the results of completed theoretical or empirical studies in the social sciences and humanities. Submissions must clearly formulate a research problem, apply an appropriate methodology, and provide well-substantiated conclusions. Articles should align with the scope of the journal and demonstrate scholarly novelty, practical significance, and contribution to the advancement of the relevant discipline. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Lectures of famous scholars
The journal publishes lecture texts in various branches of linguistics. the lectures are expected to reflect the author's own scientific research implemented in academic process.
